NFI announces quarterly fellowship for reporters
The National Foundation for India has announced a quarterly, rolling fellowship for reporters.
The inaugural round of grants od Rs 30,000 each is for English-language journalists from outside the six metro cities in India. NFI has clarified that subsequent rounds, to be granted every quarter, will include Indian languages.
For the first round, grantees will have to “publish one story on a broad range of themes and issues of public interest, reported in depth over one month”, as per the NFI website.
The last date to submit applications is 15 December 2020. Successful applicants will be notified within another 15 days
